Introduction

Welcome to Glide. Glide Entry Inc. (“Glide,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides biometric-based access control solutions for events, venues, workplaces, and hospitality settings. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Glide Platform, including our website (www.glidentry.com), mobile applications, and related services (“Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and maintaining your trust. Our services are designed to offer secure, seamless, and frictionless check-in experiences, while fully respecting your rights and complying with all applicable privacy laws, including the Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA), GDPR, and CCPA.


1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Glide Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services. Your agreement is confirmed through any of the following actions: Accessing our website or platform Creating a user account Enrolling in facial recognition or biometric verification Uploading your image or credentials to participate in an event using Glide


2. Description of Services

Glide provides a range of identity verification and access management solutions, including: Biometric facial verification for entry to physical spaces QR-code-based access control and mobile pass integration Event guest verification and attendee management tools Real-time identity checks for secure or restricted-access areas Service availability may be subject to change. We aim for 99.9% uptime and will provide notice where possible regarding planned maintenance or changes.


3. Eligibility and Account Registration

To use certain Glide features, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction and are solely responsible for safeguarding your credentials. You agree not to share your login information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or suspicious activity.


4. Use of Biometric Data

4.1 Collection and Consent To provide biometric-based check-in services, we collect data points derived from your facial geometry. These are not stored as images but are converted into encrypted mathematical representations known as “biometric templates.” You will be asked to explicitly consent to biometric processing before we collect or use your biometric data. You may choose to opt out at any time.

4.2 Glide Verified — Ongoing Recognition If you opt in to remain “Glide Verified”: Your biometric template is securely retained for future use across participating events. Data is retained for up to three (3) years following your last verified event. You may withdraw consent at any time. We will delete your biometric template within seven (7) business days. If you do not opt in, your biometric data will be deleted within thirty (30) days after the event or earlier if you request it.

4.3 Data Security and Retention We employ industry-leading encryption protocols, secure data transmission standards, and undergo routine security audits. Biometric templates are stored separately from personal identifiers and cannot be reverse-engineered into images. We do not sell or share biometric data with advertisers. Biometric data is never stored indefinitely. Templates are deleted: Within 30 days of event conclusion (for single-use verification) Within 7 business days upon opt-out request After 3 years of inactivity for Glide Verified users


5. Your Privacy Rights

You may at any time: Request access to your data Withdraw your consent Ask for data deletion Choose an alternative verification method Receive updates regarding changes in data practices International users, including residents of California, the EU, or UK, may have additional rights under regional privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA). These include data portability, objection, and restriction of processing.


6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, technology, and infrastructure of the Glide Platform are owned by Glide or its licensors. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or exploit any portion of the Service without express written permission.

7. Event Entry and Verification

Using Glide at an event means you agree to participate in identity verification, either through: Biometric facial scan QR code check-in Manual override when permitted by the organizer Entry may be denied at the discretion of the organizer or due to failure of identity match.


8. User Conduct

You agree to use Glide lawfully and respectfully. You may not: Tamper with our systems or attempt unauthorized access Upload false information or biometric data of another person Interfere with another user’s experience Use our platform to conduct illegal activities


9. Payment and Fees

Some Glide services may incur fees, including event-based or subscription pricing. All charges will be disclosed prior to purchase or enrollment. Payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Subscription plans will auto-renew unless canceled. Failed payments may result in suspension of service.


10. Service Disclaimers

Glide offers its platform “as is” without warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or verification speed, and we are not liable for issues such as denied entry, technical downtime, or event disruptions caused by third parties. Our maximum liability is limited to the fees paid by the user for services rendered. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.


11. Termination

You may deactivate your account or withdraw from Glide services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination: Your access rights are revoked Your biometric data is deleted in accordance with our retention policy


12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update or revise these Terms. Any material changes will be posted on our website, and your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.


13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, excluding conflicts of law. All disputes will be resolved through individual, binding arbitration. You waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits or jury trials. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of accepting these Terms by contacting us in writing.


14. Accessibility and Children's Privacy

Glide is committed to providing accessible services to all users. If you require support or accommodations, please contact us. We do not knowingly collect or process biometric data from individuals under the age of 13.


15. Cookies and Analytics

Our website may use cookies and analytics tools to improve performance. You may manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings. We do not use cookies for biometric data storage or processing.
